About the Artist
Evans considers himself a "self-learned", as opposed to a
self-taught, artist.
He has gathered inspiration from many different resourses such as photography, drafting, graphic design and fellow artists.
Keenly aware of the elements of composition, he attempts to infuse his paintings with the feeling of passing time as well as the essence of the moment.
From sketching, to monochromatic studies, to the use of a limited pallet, Evans’ efforts result in what is often perceived to be a realistic composition.
He has been featured in various group and solo exhibits and has been the recipient of numerous awards.
In 2006 The Allied Artists of Schuylkill County Honored him as the featured artist at their 45th annual Juried Art Exhibition.Gallery Exhibits:
